Today our search engine czar, Google, released a very unstable, crash prone and buggy developer’s version of Google Chrome for Mac and Linux users. However, this release is not the Beta release by google. This is only for the most eager users and developers only.
Since this release is not free from bugs and highly unstable and lacks features as well, Google itself gave a “DO NOT DOWNLOAD” warning in its official announcement.
Warning : Only Meant For Developers – Use At Your Own Risk
There was a lot of speculation and anticipation for the release of Google Chrome for Mac and Linux, it has finally surfaced but still has a long long way to go. This is just a basic release and is very incomplete. It does not support Youtube videos, you cant change the privacy settings, cant change the default search engine and you cant even print. Add to that the unstableness and bugs and a lot of other issues.
You can download the respective releases from here :
I hope the chromium team would speed-up this and release a beta version for the above 2 platforms as soon as possible not only for the developers but also for the general users and Google Chrome fans.
