Google Chrome 14.0.794.0 dev is available for download for Windows, Mac, Linux and this version of Chrome addresses several
security apprehensions. Chrome 14.0.794.0 improves secure HTTP support in multiple ways and also along with it the V8 JavaScript engine is updated to version 3.4.3.0. It also improves security when web applications are installed from the Chrome Web Store.
Improvements In Security Of The Browser
The security arrangements may look minor but improves the security of the browser manifold. Chrome 14 dev has support for DNSSEC authentication for HTTPS which consolidates web protocol. It is to be noted that security has been a major feature in all the versions of Chrome and in each of its version, Google has taken care that security is kept up to the mark.
Notably Google is taking HTTPS issue pretty critically and has been taking steps to answer mixed secure site scripting conditions in Chrome 14 dev.
