A vertical tab bar like Tree Style Tabs in Firefox that remains until I decide I don't want it. I've looked at Tab Manager, but it goes away as soon as I do something else. Not good, I need the tab bar to remain.

well lets see, there is presently two out of four things I wouldn't mind having already available. Regardless of the plugin, I'd certainly like it to be compatible with SRWare's Iron browser.
1. Adblock plus - it was a welcome surprise to see it available already, and compatible with my browser.

2. a web video downloader(for youtube, metacafe, etc) - again I was pleasantly surprised to see there were a few of them, and at least one works(i've not tried the others yet).

3. flashgot - I was sorta disappointed to see there isn't a port of(or something similar) it yet, and the chrome plugin for OrbitDownloader (the firefox plugin stopped working back in FF v.5 (there's been no update since, so i've been using flashgot all this time) won't work for SRWare Iron, as it checks for the install path for chrome.

4. WebMail notifier - it's been so thoroughly developed on firefox it just about covers every single webmail service out there. it's not necessary, but it would be nice to see. it's just a handy time-saver(i'm on dialup), removing the need to log into every site(mail.com is particularly bandwidth heavy) manually only to find you have no new mail.

I think that's it...I've personally very little need for anything else.

Something like plain old favorites for firefox. Education institutions must be able to use the windows favorites folder, which can be directed to a network home directory. Without this, IE is the best option.
