With Chrome 16, Google has come up with a new feature which allows you to set multiple profiles in Chrome. This helps you to share a computer or uphold separate Google individuality without logging out of the OS. In this article we will tell you as to how you can create multiple profile in Chrome.
Ways To Create Multiple Profiles
First Of all, click on the Wrench menu icon and select “Sign into Chrome” Option.
If you are using Chrome’s Sync feature, then you will see you account as “Signed in as….”. If not then, you will see “Sign in and Sync”
Go back to Wrench, choose options and then “Personal Stuff” and then “Add new user.” As soon as you do this, then it will open a new Chrome window.
After this you need to repeat the “Sign into Chrome” process which associates the Google account with the profile.
One can also customize the name of the profile and icon. There are some icon such as flower, ninja etc provided by Google. So manage two accounts from the same browser and have a great surfing experience.
