Guys, give the browser some more time. Its only 6 months since it has been released. Already it has been voted the fastest browser as you know. If you just need something simple then subscribe to the Stable Release of Chrome, as pointed out by onoe guy, all these command lines adds, etc are for only testers and developers to implement those things in the stable release.

abso, didn't the words "preliminary", "some sort of extensions support", "very basic at this stage" and "on the developers website" give you a hint that it's still preliminary, very basic at this stage and somehow reserved for developers?

I love Chrome, carry on guys!

Now if they just give you a way to load extensions/themes from within the damn browser itself... Why bother releasing support for this stuff if you have to much around with command line options and dll overwrites to make it happen. This browser is perfect for the build it yourself linux crowd, but is silly for everyone else that just wants something that is simple to use.
