Radio is one of the oldest and most popular forms of entertainment. Today there are thousands of radio stations available across the Shoutcast Chrome Extensionglobe which airs different programs. Though it may seem extremely difficult for one to sit in one continent of the world and enjoy radio stations of another continent with Shoutcast Chrome extension you can listen to several free radio stations while surfing the net.

It is to be noted that Shoutcast is a free internet radio service which allows access to many AAC and MP3 radio stations from several broadcasters around the globe. Not only that, one can enjoy several music genres like classical, folk, jazz, pop etc. Through Shoutcast Chrome extension, users can explore several shoutcast stations via keyword or browsing the music genres.

Agreed. Did you notice that there is not actual review of the plugin? It’s a summary of what Shoutcast is, and a link to the Chrome plugin, but nothing about the plugin itself.

Here’s my review:
Clicking the button does nothing. Hovering over the button does nothing. Right clicking the button gives you the standard plugin controls (e.g. to uninstall).

If you long-hold the button eventually the menu will pop up, but if you let go it disappears. You can sometimes move the mouse down to interact with the interface area, where you can let go of the button and it will stay, however, sometimes Chrome thinks you are trying to drag the button itself around. I haven’t actually used any of the functionality within the menu itself, since I have no intention of keeping it.

It does work, but just a basic radio box, nothing fancy just a plain radio box. It will be much better if bookmarks can be access from the plugin.
