Are you fed up of dragging and dropping bookmarks in Chrome manually? Well, now you do not have to worry about doing it. Chrome Web Store has got a Chrome Extension called SuperSorter, which will help you to sort all your bookmarks in alphabetical order. With just a single click of the button of the extension, you can sort all your bookmarks in alphabetical order in all your folders. Another interesting feature of the extension is that it sorts folders too and if you like it will put the folders at the top of the list above the bookmarks. Read on to know as to how you can use SuperSorter to sort out your Chrome Bookmarks.
Step 1: First of all you need to install SuperSorter extension from the Chrome Web Store. Click the link given below to install the extension.
Once the extension is installed, you get to see a green icon near the address bar of the browser
Step 2: Right-click on the icon and select “Options“
Step 3: As soon as you select “Options”, you get the Option of sorting the bookmarks either in “Ascending” or “Descending” order. After choosing the order, click “Save Options“
Step 4: In order to sort your Chrome Bookmarks, left click on the SuperSorter button. As soon as sorting is completed it says “Done”.
Other Features Of The Extension
Apart from sorting bookmarks, the extension has several other features. It deletes empty bookmark folders and also deletes duplicate bookmarks in the same folder. It merges neighboring folders which has the same name and most importantly it save time and keeps your Chrome Bookmark tidy.
However, one thing you need to be careful is that since it is the early release of the extension, there is no Undo function. So you have to use it at your own risk.
