The Developer channel for Chrome OS has been updated to version 22.0.1229.21 for Chromebooks which includes Samsung Series 3, Series 5 550, Acer AC700, Cr-48 and Samsung Chromebox Series 3. This build verision basically contains many improvements and stability patches.
Some of the noteworthy changes includes:
- Avatar images has been updated for both guests and users
- The traditional update issue while upgrading form older version from Chrome has finally been fixed
- The Pepper Flash version has been updated for this version like every new build
- You can now retain your wallpaper while frequently changing sessions
- Daily Wallpaper settings problem has also been fixed which was freezing up since last three versions.
Chrome OS has been significantly waiting for some major changes and this Dev channel update sure provides assurance. With Google Chrome taking a giant leap with added support for Windows 8 and iOS versions, the chrome OS channel now awaits its turn.
