It is joyous news for Chrome users as the browser looks set to come with a Notification Center. The notifications enabled with rich templates, spotted by French developer Francois Beaufort, can be availed in the newest version of Chromium that can be downloaded from here. Once you have it, you have to only toggle the “Enable Rich Notifications” in the location chrome: //flags to watch how they work. Take a look at this screenshot to know how it works:
The feature is still in a developmental stage but can yield some great benefits to Chrome and take it closer to the Android OS. It is expected to be available in a later version of Chrome. It is noteworthy that the development of this feature hints at a possible entry of Google Now support in the browser. That is something that we guess all Chrome users would wait for with bated breath.
