my google chrome crashes daily 8 to 9 times and its really irritating..what could be the problem?

Start with your OS and then your version of Chrome ...

You didnt happen to switch versions?
Twice Ive gone from beta to dev and it crashed heaps.
Had to uninstall and delete two directorys that still had crap in them, reinstall and then copy the profile directory back...fixed it.

Dev is actually alpha state before going beta.I have no doubt if you got tone of crashes.Likewise i have been long alpha user for firefox browser.I give up because those unstable patch causing the browser tone of crashes.
