Sometimes when I press my homepage hotkey on my keyboard, Google Chrome starts up about 10 windows of homepages. Seperate windows, not tabs. And when I close them all, and press the hotkey again, Chrome opens 2 windows. It's rather annoying and I hope you can deal with this. If you need more information, let me know

what is your OS version? what is your chrome version? what do you mean by a homepage hotkey? what keyboard do you have? does it have settings for hotkeys?
if you are using just Alt+Home, then check your homepage settings in chrome, it is working fine for me.
