    Default Logitech MX 3200 mouse

    Hi all,

I love Chrome - I prefer to all other available browsers. I recently purchased the Logitech MX3200 combo (mouse and keyboard), but seems as though some functions on the mouse, notably the back and forward mouse buttons which I have been eager to get my hands on, don't work with Chrome...they do however with Internet Explorer - argh - which I despise.

I tried searching but failed to yield any results on the matter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Marco

This is just an uninformed shot in the dark so to say, but think of any piece of hardware and then it's 'updated driver' details, IE. a video card for example.
What I am getting at, is that usually the software is written for the hardware functionality addressing these issues. So, if I were you I'd check for updated driver files from Logitech that have 'release notes' and see what compatibility issues are resolved if any.
Beyond that I'd send Logitech support an email inquiring if they plan on, or have addressed popular new software issues such as browsers that are emerging, IE. Google Chrome, etc.
On a side note, generic Windows drivers usually provide support for the Microsoft aspect in this regard I'd fathom.
    I hope that helps.

Being a Logitech mouse you should make sure you have SetPoint. With SetPoint you can assign any key to any button. Try changing the forward and backward buttons to Alt+right and Alt+left which are the shortcuts for both IE and Chrome, instead of leaving them on back and forward.

The supporting problem of other browse is the basic problem of any multimedia mouse. because company design forInternet explorer only. and Logitech MX3200 product is old compare to Chrome.
