    Default Multi Monitor

    Hi all,

    Just new to the forums.

Has anyone else had trouble with multiple monitors for google chrome. I currently have 4 monitors setup with on my pc, 2 x 19", 1 x 22" and 1 x 40". Google Chrome displays fine on my 22" but when I open it on my 19", it is too large horizontally and a quarter of the window displays on the next monitor. if anyone has had a similar issue I would be interested in hearing your response.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I have similar problem. I have 19"(1600x1200) and 17"(1280x1024). On 19" everything is OK. But when I take browser on 17" and maximise it, it's 1600x1200 that means off screen. And sometimes I want have browser on both monitors and this bug is quite annoying.

Firstly, I cannot get Chrome to load to the full screen height/width (19" monitor) after transferring it from laptop screen. Also when starting Chrome straight to 19" monitor have same effect.
Secondly, Ultramon program does not seem to recognise the Chrome application.

you mentioned you used ultramon, i am using the same. I decided to disable it to see what would happen, the window displayed properly on each of my monitors. The problem must lie with ultramon and chrome. Maybe try it also and see if you get the same results.

    Cheers

    Spot on, Dave.

I switched off ultramon and Chrome behaved itself on each screen.
I can work around it by placing Chrome on the monitor, size I want, then starting ultramon to manage the rest of my applications.
    Thanks for the tip.

    Spry.
