open task manager, kill all chrome.exe proces then reopen
6.0.447.0 dev
Unofficial Windows 7 Ultimate
I am using the latest version of Chrome. The browser occasionally gets goofy and won't even load google. However after refreshing and reloading a few times it will finally work. I did try killing chrome and starting over, but that hasn't changed anything. (I made sure there were no leftover chrome.exe files running in task manager)
I'm not sure why chrome is acting up....
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit, Chrome 5.0.375.70. A while ago I had exactly the same problem, nothing loaded, but I went to Options | Clear Browsing Data and everything returned to normal after a restart. Now the problem has returned with one site only: gmail. It's not the server, I can access my mail without problem with another browser. No idea what's going on.
I have the same intermittent problem on a XP x86 SP3, MSE, Comodo(firewall only) v5.0.375.125, OpenDNS, LastPass and Evernote. Links work with a webpage but URL and searches typed in the address bar and favorites don't load and hang for several minutes. just a hourglass icon for a second or two. Then No loading ball, no page unavailable, no page not found, page is unchanged but will eventually load a few minutes later. Here is the best part page this will occur even if the page in already loaded in a different tab or different window.
I'm having the same problem. I have the latest version of Google Chrome and am running it on Windows XP home edition.
