Default Not enough free memory to run other apps

I'm running Google Chrome 2.0.172.33 on Windows XP Professional SP3 and my 2GB memory seems to get exhausted to the point where I'm unable to start any other applications, not even Start - Run.

If an error is presented it says there is not enough free memory and I need to close something. Task Manager shows there is still memory available, but even if I close all applications, including Chrome, I'm still unable to start anything and must restart XP.

I'm not sure what pages are causing the issues and will try to start monitoring the sites I visit before the memory exhaustion, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone else is experiencing similar issues or knows of a possible cause.

I can't read anything on that screenshot :P It's too low res.
I have never experienced those issues and I'm using it on a 1Gb ram computer.

Since you are on Stable, I suppose you are not using any extensions ?

The image was compressed further when attached, so I can try to attach the larger image again if required - provided it won't be compressed again.

I just upgraded Chrome last week hoping it would fix this issue.

    I'm not using any extensions.

I did have a Facebook tab up overnight before my last memory issue.

Are there any sites that are known to cause Chrome memory issues?

Any website can cause a memory issue.
If facebook's page has a small memory leak, it might be the cause.
