    @winter

    All the extensions you have installed are safe ...

    One suggestion I have for you though ...

    Instead of having a separate GR Notifier and Subscription extension installed try out TPGooglereader ...

    It's a combined GR Notifier and Subscription extension ...

    IMO it provides the best of both worlds ...https://chrome.google.com/extensions...epagbdcfafkehp

    One of it's biggest features is that you can open your feeds in a new tab without the need for going to GR and it automatically marks them as read ...

    Well worth a look ...

    Thought you'd like it ...

    I'm really amazed it hasn't got a bigger audience (I did quite a bit of work with the author when it first came out) ...

    Spread the word ;-)

    I know this about Chrome, but there's more news about a potentially naughty app:
    'Suspicious' Android wallpaper app nabs user data
    Up to 4 million downloads
    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/07...s_android_app/

    The take-home message for me is to be cautious with apps and extensions unless someone senior here gives the all-clear! Merely going by the number of times something has been downloaded may not be adequate.
