I have the dev version of google chrome, and just installed the page rank, google reader notification, and clicki extensions.
When I go to google reader (and somewhat gmail too) the screen flashes black at random times.
Just letting you know about it.

So you lose all video? This doesn't sound like something that would be caused by Chrome. Are your video drivers up-to-date? Maybe see if this same issue happens while using IE (test for a few days).

Actually, I was having a similar problem, everytime I loaded a new tab w/ the Gmail Checker Extension (from Google) installed, the page would flash white 2-3 times. I think it was the pathetic (512 MB) RAM on my computer. It was so annoying that I have disabled it. I don't think it's a graphics card problem because with it disabled it doesn't have problems.

Yeah I've been getting this, it flashes black sometimes when I click the window while it's out of focus. Doesn't seem like it affects anything though.
