Is there a way to remove this feature? Or at least tweak it to make it not break paths when trying to post code for people? A lot of people come here because they need our help and overlook the miscellaneous spaces caused by this feature.
I am not sure whether certain sections of the forum can do away with the restrictions;
it's a global setting
I know, I think it needs to be changed globally. I know what it's designed for and I think it's not really beneficial on a forum like this.
There is a feature (if you want to call it that :P) on this forum that is used to prevent horizontal scrolling. At least I think that's the main purpose. What is does is take any string of 50 characters without a space and break it up. So if I type out 53 characters (such as a file or registry path) it will take the first 50, add a space, then the next 3. Here is an example:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
Notice it puts a random space in "Application" after the 50 characters, then finishes up the path.
i wil go through this in the admin panel and figure out to remove this limitation at an earliest.
