Hello,

I was wondering shall we include a Google Chrome OS forum section in our forum??

Let me know what you guys think.. Probably our forum would be diversified then and can gradually include other sections on Google Chrome OS as well as finer details emerge?

Let me know your thoughts and as well as what shall be the name of the forum.

I don't really think so.. I mean, maybe when it's released, but there's not really anything to post in it yet besides news.

We already get enough problems with people posting Chromium issue here !!

Well i personally really wanted to have a section here for Google Chrome OS News and stuff, as you said there is not much about the OS right now, but if we can provide some info as and when it comes out our forum would become a bit more popular? What say?

I think it is a good idea actually. Of course, only if there would be someone to post news and previews there =) As soon as Chrome OS will be released, there would be tons of forums that will add these sections, and ours would already have content.
But I also think that this section is kinda out of the scope of this community, maybe it should be placed in Offtopic?..

probably you are saying this because our site name is "Chrome Plugins", is that the reason? I was also thinking about the same. But i did some research on this:

And since google chrome os would be from google chrome browser so i think we can add that section here. People wanting info and tips for tricks for google chrome browser would also like tips and tricks for google chrome os.

ok maybe you are right. i suggest a subforum at this time, and we'll see if there is a need for a whole section later, when the OS would be released.

I think that since this site is all about "Google Chrome", it should also include the Google Chrome OS, in other words, it shouldn't off-topic..

Yeah. There's just nothing to post there yet.
I think it'd be better as just blog posts right now really.
