Default ChromePlugins : Hiring Forum Staff And Moderators and Contributors

    Hello,

I know i should have done this a lot earlier, but i was just waiting for the right time to come. With the initial support for Chrome Plugins and Extensions released by Google Team i think its the best time to look for Voluntary Forum Staff and Moderators.

Being a part of the staff member here at ChromePlugins would be a lot of fun and quite interesting as well. Currently we are looking for :

Forum Moderators : Basically your work would be to keep the forum clean from spammers, give infractions or ban users who are creating problem and deliberately not following rules. Check if the threads are posted in the proper section or not, if not move them to the proper section. And try and help people with all sorts of queries. Requirement: Should know how to operate Vbulletien Panel. Past experience would come in handy.

Forum Contributors : If you are a developer or programmar and want to make or can make or have made themes, plugins, extensions, etc for Google Chrome then you have got a chance to showcase your work to thousands of people who visit our forum every day. Basically you would be required to post topics and help out others at the forum.

The forum is 100% non-profit right now. The ads have been put to make up server costs for the site. So this is a non-paid job.

But i am sure with time the forum would gain a lot more traffic specially when more and more extendable features for Google Chrome are launched.

So, just get in touch with me, post your replies here alongwith what you want to do, past experience and all those stuff.

Note: You must be well adapted to Google Chrome and be able to tweaks to chrome with no problems. Suggestions would be appreciated.

I would like to become a Moderator & Contributor at the same time... I've been helping out alot on this forum for the past weeks and I plan to help them later on too. I've also created many themes (where one was popular which I posted on this site) and can make many more.

    Thanks,
    Stamga

I'll be glad to be a Forum Moderator. I'm not much of a programmer so I'll leave the Contributing to other people, but I'm a pretty level-headed guy and I've had some experience moderating with a small (now defunct) PC hardware site.

Guys, i would like to tell everyone that please include your MSN chat id's as well. It would be easier for me to approach the potential Mods and Contributors using MSN chat.

I would enjoy being a Forum Moderator here at ChromePlugins.
I have past experience with the Admin/Moderator controls in VBulletin as well.

No MSN chat, i'm @travism00re on twitter

    travism77@gmail.com

    Nonprofit = GREAT IDEA!

I have no previous experience as a moderator, but would give it 110% if given the opportunity. It is something I've tried to get involved with on other sites but was never given the chance b/c I don't have experience. Makes me wonder how someone like myself can ever learn if no one is willing to give me a chance. I've used Google Chrome for many months & spend almost all day, everyday on the web. If you want someone that will get the job done right & is trainable...I'm your guy!
