That was a nice bookmark, thank you Google.. I just tried it here on this forum page, and it actually translate really well to danish.. It gets a litle weird with long sentences, but they can be hard enough to figure out, when they are in english too![]()
If Admin can add a Chinese forum, I can help a lot. Many Chinese can share their ideas for Google.
Well the thing is, since our community is not that large yet and still Chrome is very new and not a lot of features yet, i dont think a separate language forum would be required at this point.
We might be integrating some translation feature though in months to come whereby users who want to take part in discussions in other languages can post and share the same database as the main one.. And there would be both way translation.. Not sure whether this would work well though..
Yeah, I don't really see the point in making a forum for every language..
BTW, how much users speak Chinese? Maybe 2 or 3...
How much users speak French? Maybe 2 or 3...
How much users speak Spanish? 2 or 3..
In other words, making a forum per language is pretty useless if most of the users here speak English and only a couple will use the other language forums.
I think the admin is right, we don't need other forums or sections for other languages.
I disagree, many forums that deal with software have
sub-forums for each language, especially when this software is
localized. An example: Emesene Forum
Sticking to an English-only forum will bring some foreign users to open their own forum instead of using this one.
As much as I hate to use the word FF, they seem to have managed without a foreign language forum ...
@Admin/Moderator; This 'kingdict' member seems to be just another spammer and should be removed..? (See this thread too).
Edit: Oh, also, I see no reason for non-English forums either. A waste of time for forum staff, unmanageable unless they speak every other language used, and useless to those who speak only English. Questions and answers we can't understand serve no purpose, and if people want to create their own language forums they can, and will. No service can cater for the whole world without a huge amount of work and funding.
