I've started a FAQ to try and answer those common questions we get. It can be found here: Google Chrome FAQ

I've closed it to avoid the clutter but am looking for feedback here. I'm looking for ANY suggestions you have for this post. This includes:

- spelling
- grammar
- formatting
- content
- possible tags
- thread title
- additional topics

I put it in the Chrome Talk forum because it seemed like the most applicable spot. I'm looking for the regular members for support in this since we collectively help serve this community and it's likely to be a tool to help us do a better job.

also you could consider adding "how to install a dll theme", since crx themes are still not too common.

With all the new users joining ChromePlugins every day, we need to make sure that 'older' users don't get fed up repeating the same answers to the same questions every day !

Unfortunately you'll never get away from the fact that, basically people are lazy and would rather post a question than search for an answer ..

It would be easy to adopt an attitude of 'why bother helping people that aren't prepared to help themselves' but I guess us more senior members, that have seen Chrome come on 'leaps and bounds' in the past few months are above that and are keen to impart our knowledge to others, however frustrated we may be ...

What I do on another forum that I am a member of is simply post 'search the forum, the answer is here if you only look'

The positive thing to take from this is that collectively we are making this forum the No 1 site to visit for all things Chrome ...

So I think we all deserve a 'big pat on the back' ;-D

If you perform a google search for ALMOST anything Chrome related, you wind up at this site quickly. This is my main reason for trying to compile this info.

You think installing .dll themes is something people ask a lot? I personally haven't seen anyone ask...
