Hello Members,

We would be making a switch to new servers in a few hours from now. I would put the forum into maintenance mode prior to switching over. The nameservers would take some time to propagate - so it may happen that you would be seeing the Maintenance Message even if the forums are working if the DNS is not resolved in your area.

So kindly if you see that message for too long flush your ip/dns and it would be perfect..

now just an update.. the switch to the server has been successfull.. Kindly let us know if you are having any issues with accessing the site? And how is your browing experience on the site is..? Is it faster than earlier?

i'm connecting and that's the important part . almost seems as if the site looks 'crisper' also . granted, that would have nothing to do with the server .

It is definitely faster than it was the last day or so.
And great work on the move, most sites would have been down longer.

i've passed three goden stones through my colon since the new server move . is this normal ?

So far, so good.
In fact its MUCH faster. Im a dialup user and it use to pause loading all the extra little bits and pages would be slowly drawn. Now its its just bang, theres the page...much nicer....hope it stays that way

Well yep - now the server wont give much problems i guess.. But we need a lot more activity on the forum now..

I can see that loading time is much improved and everything works. Good job.
