It'd be a nice way for developers to throw around ideas and stuff.

I go on alot of forums and they have rules about asking any questions related to a topic for any help you made need. You guys are wrong and it would be nice to chat about any thing else. I vote yes for a chat box.

I think the response to the topic says it all ...

It would appear that the idea of a 'site chat room' doesn't appeal to the members of this forum ...

Ohioguru's comment is the first since the end of October, it's a little bit like the Plugins Request thread ...

A good idea at the time, but falls quite a way short in the execution ...
