I noticed recently it's been taking a while for a page here to become responsive after loading.
So I looked at the resource load times. These are the heaviest, near the bottom.


One thing I notice though it probably won't help much is that http://www.chromeplugins.org/google/images/dot-ddd.gif and http://www.chromeplugins.org/google/images/icon-rss.gif don't exist, making the browser have to wait extra time for a timeout or something.

The last four take a disturbingly long time to respond (at least that's what I assume the translucent bar means?). They don't always seems to take that long but every now and then. I think the lag is mostly from those two icons though..

Thought it was my machine that was the problem ...

Seems to have coincided with this change of servers ...

The servers were changed yesterday, so it is possible that the DNS might not have resolved for many guys. I am waiting for 2 more days to see how is everything working, if its still slow then i would be increasing the RAM of the server..

Well it's not that it's responding slowly I think.. cause everything seems rendered fine, it just takes a second for me to be able to scroll and click stuff.
I'd say try uploading some blank GIFs in place of those two missing ones and see if it helps, first.
