Administrators do post - but our main objective is to be keep the forum "free from troubles" and gather feedback from the members to improve the forum.

However, its also my duty to make sure that there is sufficient activity (in terms of posting) on the forum. and that is precisely what i am trying to do. Probably contacting a few developers and asking them to submit their stuff here would also help IMO.

lack of postings does not equal lack of activities;

lack of postings means many users of Chrome are happy without problems when running the browser

lack of visitors equal lack of activities

plenty of activities means spammers are at play

lol

Chrome, I was a little agitated by your email, until I read your explanation.
That actually makes perfect sense to me.

But I still think the problem is the connection speed, and with me being on dial up, I notice it more than most.
Aside from the connection time out error, I occasionally get a tzuy.com script error, or something like that.

So back to the original topic, I think fixing these errors should be way more important than trying to get attention of inactive users.
As Chrome evolves, and new features come and old features go, and problems arise, people will become active once again.
The fact is, Chrome has been running well and just hasn't given us much to talk about.

Thanks for your thoughts.. appreciate it.. I would be moving out some sites from my present server to another server so that the load is not much on that site.

Hmm, I was taught that a BBS style Forum was a collaboration tool for reaching a common goal and did not make a good social network. If there is a common goal here that needs our effort, I missed seeing it.

The constant refurbishing of the extension system made it a little stressful for a while, but I think they're settling now..

When things are better it should be said so also.
The speed of this forum has been a lot better in the past few days.
This makes me want to post again. Thanks Chrome.

Chrome wants to know where all the members have gone ...

Basically this is the slowest forum on the web ...

Other competing forums that used to be pretty c*** have now caught up with you and are far more interesting !!...

You won't get any new members unless you sort this issue !!!

These are the sites that started about the same time as yours ....

ChromeBoard http://www.chromeboard.com/

Chrome Fans http://www.chromefans.org/

Chrome Story http://chromestory.com/

Chrome Spot http://chromespot.com/

There is another one called Chrome News but you have to complete a 'very stupid' quiz to register !!

IMO Chrome Story is certainly the most professional of all the forums ....
