One is getting mixed advice regarding Google Chrome regarding its security features. Would you folk say Chrome is as secure as IE8 or Opera or even Firefox? Would you do your Banking with Chrome?

Should anyone not see this posting, could you all advise me immediately. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. I think it's more attitude towards certain browsers as it is towards certain OS's. In other words, if one favors a Mac, then Microsoft isn't any good or vice versa.
If one is leaning towards Opera for instance, then IE8 or Chrome isn't any good. Am I getting close to the truth?

Hmmm.... With a finely developed sense of humour, truth takes second place!

So on a serious note, I take it from your humorous reply, I'm getting to the truth regarding ones' comments on a Browser. I've been told to actually drop Chrome because of its security issues. One new to the game does have reservations after reading comments like that, but then others are saying that Opera takes a second place to IE8 and Firefox about 8th to Opera.
Do you have any recommendations as to sites to read up on Chromes security?

chrome i do believe at least i do it is the most secure out right now.
