Merely quoting the title of the article ....

However it would be interesting to know your reasons as to why not rather than just saying you don't agree ...

Pretty pointless post without any justification, it's almost as if you haven't actually read the content of the article and just disagree with the use of the word 'ugly'...

What strikes me first is "There’s also tight integration with Google’s massive array of online apps. " well, in the demo they showed that the spreadsheet/excel file actually opened in MS office web NOT google docs so it seems one is not forced to use google apps which is really nice :=)

"Chrome OS sounds like it revolves heavily on having near constant access to the web, which even today with WiFi and 3G networks, isn’t always possible. " yep, it sounds as they hit the marked 3-5 years ahead of time but then again, then they got the time to test it and make it stable, but not being able to work with documents while offline is not good.

"How Chrome OS fits in with Windows/Mac/Linux" he's probatly right, what I think is that surely one will be able to install this on a reguraly pc with time and they tend to forget Android that has some of the features that people misses and they might roll out both thought not likely when they havn't told so but an option.

Bottem line, the review reflect the state, it is to short - as we don't know any more, so really hard to say if it got potential or not.. at the moment Im verry skeptic and don't think they will get a market share worth mesauring..

I don't think ugly word should be used for Chrome OS as it really looks cool and even it has got quite good features. Everything has got some good and bad points but that doesn't mean that it is ugly.
