This is a discussion on Chromium OS within the Chrome OS News section, part of the Google Chrome OS category: http://www.chromium.org/chromium-os...
When look at the streaming video and it is a very promising securing OS,Somehow the installation seem to be kinda confusing at this moment and there is still a lot to move on.Probably i will get a test run on the OS soon after the Google Chrome Browser is out of beta state.

Few days ago only I downloaded and and installed it, OS really looks impressive to me. Installation was little bit confusing but after that it's great. I think I will love to work with Chromium OS.
Google Chromium OS may appear somewhat odd at first, but it's also very intuitive. Odd because it's completely different from any OS and intuitive because a web browser is where we spend most of the time on any other OS, so there's no learning curve at all.
when this comes out of beta will it be available for all? like will i be able to uninstall crappy windows and use this? just curious i heard about this and was wondering.
It is designed for netbook type of computers, like low powered laptops, that don't have much memory, and are cheap so everyone can have a fully functional computer, where you can use all of googles wonderful apps like, gmail for mail, and googles word and powerpoint, they also want you to store your information and all your saved files on their server and if you need more space you pay a small monthly fee, the actual Operating system should be free for all, and you should be able to install it instead of windows...
There is a version you can download and install to a 2gb usb stick and try it out

I have used it and it is rather fun to try for a little while
