Default Is this firefox feature possible in chrome?

Sorry for not specifying the feature, I don't really know how to describe it with words.

those little buttons you can put adjacent to your URL bar. In firefox you just drag the icon next to the URL to that bar and a clickable link to that site is attached to your UI. Is something like that possible in chrome?

Nope, they're not bookmarks. It's just a place where you can put links to places you might want to go on the fly.

The thing you're describing only appears on Chrome's homepage, right? The thing in firefox functions much the same, but it's attached to your browser so it's with you wherever you go. I don't much mind going to the homepage when I want to click something to go there, but it'd still be nice for it to be like firefox where I can just click it at any time.

on another note, GOD these forums are slow O_o

"im abcd" already suggested the correct solution in Chrome: just use bookmarks! That row of favicons are just bookmarks in Chrome's bookmark bar, which is always available in the browser wherever you go.

You need to first display the bookmarks bar from Wrench menu > Tools > Always show bookmarks bar

Then just add bookmarks for the sites you want to go to. The location to add them to is the Bookmarks Bar. The catch is to leave the name empty so that it just shows the website favicons.
