Been following this for a couple of days, your progress is admirable.

The only thing holding me back from using this instead of adsweep is the toolbar at the bottom; is there a way I've missed to hide it to go with chrome's minimalist theme?

Yeah, that really is awesome that this thing can automatically block ads now. Very promising.

Did you try copying and pasting the content of the file? I see the file hasn't been changed since 2007, so this might be a solution for you?
    Version: 4.0.222.3, w/ --bookmark-menu --enable-local-storage --enable-session-storage --enable-user-scripts --enable-godmode

By default, enabled (in manifest.json) only access to http://adblockplus.mozdev.org/ for security reasons.

Off topic but what does the switch --enable-godmode do?

Is there any way to use this extension without the icon in the toolbar? Its the only addon I'm using, and I'd really rather not have that big white bar across the bottom of my window.

Otherwise this is fantastic though! Top notch work.
