I developed an external extension. It needs access to file URLs (file://). The version of google-chrome is the latest (19)
It only works if I check manually the "Allow access to file URLs" check box.
I tried the --allow-file-access-from-files command line option. With this option, after the automatic installation the checkbox appears checked, but the extension doesn't work. It only works when I check the checkbox manually. Is it a bug?

Is there a way to enable this option automatically? The problem is that the extension must work in production PC's without user intervention. The PC's haven't any keyboard and any mouse. Google chrome is started automatically and the extension must work automatically after system startup.

I tried to copy the user profile (is the same user in all pc's) but chrome doesn't start. I tried to use --enable-logging but the file is empty.

How can I solve the problem?
