    Yeah, I'm setting it up at the moment. Just for fun, and nothing to compete with Chrome Plugins, which is a very useful forum. (In fact, I think this site will remain central to Chrome for some time to come, as it's attracted a pretty knowledgeable bunch of folks). Mine will be mainly ad block based, and maybe without registration too, as Drupal has a neat anti-spam module. Well, people say it's neat...

    Yeah, I agree ...

    But might just have to see what I've get leftover after Xmas, bored with Vista now and Ubuntu was a no go for me, Oh and what a pain to uninstall !!

    @StevePaul, you can still try Windows7 RC1 to see if it fits your taste. I think it'll be active till May.2010

    I couldn't find, only in torrent sites, but if you're gonna dl torrent why bother dl-ing rc when there is full version availible..

    I've been giving privoxy a try and it seems to work well too and it's still in development unlike proxomitron.

    The default configuration seems to be adequate but privoxy definitely isn't as user friendly as all the configuration is done via notepad and commenting.


    edit--
    scratch what I said about editing in notepad. In browser configuration editing is disabled by default. It's actually really easy to use once you enable it.
