How about an extension that forces all new tabs to open in the background, including tabs opened by external applications (like Outlook or a Twitter client) when Chrome is the default browser. It'd be even better is Chrome could return the focus to the external application (though I'm sure that probably isn't possible.)

It'll be great if someone can port DownloadThemAll! to Chrome... I really miss a good download manager.

    SirG:
Having some problems getting the exact behaviour I want from the extension.
In the meantime I made a bookmarklet that does the same as the last one except you can turn it off/on again without refreshing the page (just click the bookmark again)....
    Code:
    javascript:var oStyleSheet;if(document.styleSheets){for(var oSsDmCt=0;oSsDmCt<document.styleSheets.length;oSsDmCt++){if(document.styleSheets[oSsDmCt].title=='nocolour'){oStyleSheet=document.styleSheets[oSsDmCt];oStyleSheet.disabled=!oStyleSheet.disabled;break;}}};if(!oStyleSheet){newSS=document.createElement('link');newSS.rel='stylesheet';newSS.href='data:text/css,'+escape('* { background: white ! important; color: black !important } :link, :link * { color: #0000EE !important } :visited, :visited * { color: #551A8B !important }');newSS.title='nocolour';document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(newSS);};

After we have AdBlock+, LastPass, Save Session, WOT and Drag-n-Go in Chrome, looks like almost all necessary things already here :-)
But I'd like to have some more extensions:
    1) quick selecting of default search engine using drop-down combobox, like it done in firefox (instead of writing engine name and pressing tab) - this one most of all
    2) UnMHT (save page as .mht)
    3) Google Notepad
    4) In-place Image Viewer with zoom and fullscreen view
    5) Download Helper to save videos from multiple video hostings like youtube. I know, there are bookmarklets for keepvid and dlvidz, but like to have extension which finds all videos on page.
    6) Scrapbook. Or maybe just some way to import firefox Scrapbook as bookmarks would be good enough. Is there any extension to firefox maybe? If some program would export Scrapbook to FF bookmarks, it will be easy to import to Chrome then.

Google Notepad? Do you mean Google Notebook (google.com/notebook) If so, it is only accessable for "old" customers. So I don't think anyone would make an extension for this "almost dead" service?!
    Version: 4.0.222.3, w/ --bookmark-menu --enable-local-storage --enable-session-storage --enable-user-scripts --enable-godmode

You're correct, I thought about Google Notebook, I'm using it and didn't know that it's "almost dead". A pity

Yes, it's a shame. So many good services went into Google's deadpool

An alternative to Google's notebook would be Zoho notebook (http://notebook.zoho.com). You can even import your Google notebooks. Good thing is that you can use your Google account to login to Zoho. They already created a FX plugin (ok, doesn't really help us Chrome users *g*)

    Default Any help on "FShelper"

Hi there.. I dont really know where to go anymore, so this will be my last attempt. I really love Google Chrome, but hate Firefox, dont ask why..

My problem is that Firefox has this javascript for a game that i play - I can't use this in Chrome, and i really want it to work, badly, as it's a must-have for my game..

Any help on some way to make it work would really be appreciated!

The script can be found here:
    http://code.google.com/p/fallenswordhelper/

The game is found here, if you need that too:
    http://www.fallensword.com/?ref=3009769

    Thanks in advance!
