    @Chrome

    A couple of days ago I'm sure you said you would do something about Requests after it being suggested by one of our forum members ...

    We really need to have requests like Luc's (and others) as separate items so they don't get LOST ...

    I've seen way to many good suggestions for extensions appear on this thread and then just disappear into the 'ether' ...

    Hi, I am requesting someone too make a type-ahead-search plugin, that mimics the way FF works... I think it is very lame that google has openly said they dont want this extremely useful feature.

    @ slayp00n:
    I am not sure what you mean exactly?
    Chrome does search as you type, have a look:

    no i mean search the webpage as you type.. It is an option int he last tab on ff settings.. instead of having to push ctrl+f, as soon as you begin typing and are not focused on a form it ill auto start searching the page...

    Default slash searching like firefox

    Hit "/" key and start typing to search, and if that word is found over
    a URL hit the enter key and it follows that URL. (try it in Firefox).
    It's infinitely useful when browsing pages like wiki.

    why this is important:

    if you have firefox, just try it. You can browse pages, like wiki twice as fast, never having to leave the keyboard to follow links. I'm so used to being able to do this in firefox, that I can't fully switch to chrome until this is possible.

    Is there something that changes tab behaviour so that when you close a tab, it goes back to the previously opened tab instead of the last one in line?

    An javascript that paste a specific chunk of text when clicked would be useful for me. (just make the text :www.chromeplugins.org, so i can customize it myself)

    If possible it should paste it, not add it to the clipboard (so you dont loose whats already on the clipboard), and it should be pasted where the textbar is (that flashing line right after your current typing point)

    This would be useful, for pasting smileys, special characters, or any common blocks of text

    hey guys, i wonder if somenone could make a Translit plugin (like this for FF), u just hit F2 and as you type, it automatically changes the spelling...i guess it would be very useful for "cyrillic" chrome users...tnx in advance

    Basically this script prompts the user for 2 website inputs, then opens them in the same window side by side.

    The problem, clipboard holds 1 bit of information

    The solution. make this bookmark keep the current page, and prompt for 1 new page.

    From what ive seen its not to complicated of a task, i just have no javascript experience >.<

    Code:
    javascript:A14nH=location.href;L3f7=prompt('Choose%20File%201',A14nH);R1Gh7=prompt('Choose%20File%202',L3f7);if(L3f7&&R1Gh7){Fr4Q='<frameset%20cols=\'*,*\'>\n<frame%20src=\''+L3f7+'\'/>';Fr4Q+='<frame%20src=\''+R1Gh7+'\'/>\n';Fr4Q+='</frameset>';with(document){write(Fr4Q);void(close())}}else{void(null)}
