    Default This Doesn't Make Sense!

Please tell me what's the use of all these plug-ins if each of them launches another process. I installed about 26 extensions in my Chrome and this launched 36 chrome.exe processes( each takes about 16MB of memory). On top of this, each tab opens up another process. So now I have about 600MB of memory gobbled up by Chrome.
Needless to say, I had to remove all the extensions but a couple
My question is why can't these extensions be made to launch themselves when they are used and remove the process when they are not used. Gobbling up so much memory by Chrome is unacceptable for me.

It is called "sand boxing" and it is a real security feature, each extension/tab/plug-in runs in its own "sand box" and cannot interfere with another... Google it...

Did you know that memory it REALLY cheap these days? Maybe you should spend a few bucks?
