I was wondering if there were plans to or is there anything in development for a DownloadHelper extension? If your not aware of what it is, its an extension that allows you to download and convert ANY media file on the net...Not just youtube. Also is there a download status bar in development?

The reason I'm considering abandoning Google chrome for Firefox is precisely because I miss being able to use DownloadHelper in Firefox. I don't know how I can easily download youtube etc from within Google Chrome.
