Exclamation Element Hider (AdSweep replacement)

I made a replacement myself with similar functionality when I found out AdSweep development was to be abandoned. This is basically Fanboy's CSS element-hiding rules for Opera, only repackaged into a Chrome extension.

Hope some of you find it useful as well: http://textpad.spaces.live.com/blog/...8E2D!509.entry. Please report any problems with the ad filters to their creator (Fanboy).

I moved your post out of the Adsweep thread and into a new thread here, since you are posting a new extension. If you could update your post to include features and functionality it would help readers out a bit.

i've found an issue that seems to arise using this extension, in gmail when you click 'attach a file' it does nothing now. When this extension is uninstalled attachments work fine.

I'd like to report the same problem.

Also, is it possible to add a feature (to the right click menu) to block individual images (such as annoying forum signatures)?

We can't add anything to the right click menu.

i think this extension has to be repackaged using the new method, using the switch --pack-extension.
i tried to download and rename it to zip, but the archive is broken.. guess the author has to do it himself =P

All of you that are having trouble installing the extension used Right-click->Save as on the download link in the blog post and are trying to install an HTML page as an extension.
Left-click this then click the download button in the upper left.
