    Default Extensions icons (reordering of)

Does anyone know if it's possible to reorder your extension icons on the toolbar? I tried to drag-and-drop the icons, thinking I could place them in a different order (they display by default in the order they're enabled), but that did not work. Is there a way to order them differently?

Perhaps an extension to manage their appearance?

Thanks in advance for any help someone might be able to provide.

Not possible. There is a hard way including extracting extensions, editing manifests packing again, loosing update functionality, reinstalling and so on, but i guess you're not interested

It will soon be possible when this bug is fixed:

    http://code.google.com/p/chromium/is...etail?id=26990

I expect it will be available in Chrome 5, unless they backport it into Chrome 4.

    Thanks a bunch.

I figured that was the case.

Go to the extensions page in Chrome and disable all the extensions that have an icon. Enable them back in the order you wish them to be. That's all.

I also think that it should be a drag and drop option, but this works very well.
