    Default Faviconizing Tabs?

    Hi there,

I'm still semi-new to Google Chrome, and am currently using Google Chrome 5.0.396.0 dev. Now I'm aware of the pin tabs feature, however the way I'm used to it is should I have a pinned tab, or a faviconized tab, I would still be able to move the tab around even if it was the only faviconized tab. Should I also close the tab, the tab will, well close. If you can probably tell, I'm also a FF user, and a fan of the FaviconizeTabs Add-on for it. I'm actually looking for an equivalent like this in Chrome, however I failed to have find the right plugin/extension. Pinned tabs gets 1 task done, but here's what I'm looking for.

    - The pinned tab should be able to move if it's the only pinned tab.
    - The pinned tab should i guess unpin if the tab is closed.
    - All tabs should pin automatically.

I'm actually not using the word "pin" correctly for the definition of it is to stay where it is and should the tab be closed, remain there for the rest of the browsing session. So instead, faviconize, or shrink the tab. Hopefully I make sense to someone for I've explained it as best as I could. If you do need some type of clarification, I'll try to clarify a point.

I also apologize if this has been asked already for I've searched the forums before posting, or if there is a feature I don't know about already for Chrome, but I have not found a similar situation.

    Thanks in advance,
    tyty1234

    Hi tyty1234,

AFAIK, there's no "pin tab" API. When this feature will be available, maybe someone will be able to change the pin tabs default behavior to match your needs.

Really nice one, And I know that from this I can use a keyboard shortcut with keyconfig. with Select a 'NEW Shortcut' and enter `faviconize.toggle();` into CODE area. also I can use a mouse gestures using custom code. (enter custom code faviconize.toggle();`), And I can add custom button for autofaviconize and more.
