I'm running Linux Mint 9 LTS 64 bit on my desktop, and at first, downloaded the latest version of Chrome from the web (a deb file). I'm getting these warnings (right under the address bar) in bold yellow. It states that "The Flash plug-in was blocked because it is out of date". There are 2 choices, "run this time" & "update plug-in". I'm getting nowhere with updating. I've also checked Mint itself for updates, there are no more for download. So I tried using the version of Chromium that's in Mint's repository, and it's the same. I don't get it. Firefox & Opera doesn't display these warnings. I have another install on Mint 64 bit (version 11), and this isn't a problem. I've done all of this work to set up this OS, because it's the LTS version, meaning it's supported until April 2013, and not a every 6 month release. And for my purposes, I require a 64 bit OS, as I run a lot of virtual installs. If anyone has an answer to this, please post, it would be greatly appreciated.Cat
