Thanks for everyone's advice but here's the problem which began just recently. Last week I was playing a Zynga game on Facebook when it crashed. Upon resuming this game I received a message that I was missing a plugin! The simplest thing I thought to do was to go to adobe.com and download flash player. Well, to my shocking surprise I received this message as I did also did a few moments ago... "Your Google Chrome browser already includes the latest Adobe® Flash® Player built-in." Since last week I have been searching for a way to install flash player to Google Chrome. I found a quick fix by installing it to Firefox while chrome was closed but that's not lasting...
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Thank You!

i too would like to know where the plug ins are to uninstall. i have constant crashes with the built in flash player and would like to try an older version. i had no problems with 9 but since 10 it crashes my whole browser constantly after freezing it.

just like indizguize and dejevu I'd like to know how to d/l flash standalone for chrome. None of this builtin business cos its causing my pc (win 7 x64) to randomly crash when i visit flash enabled sites. I turned off h/w acceleration but no luck. So I disabled the plugin and using IE, I downloaded flash for other OS. This used to work for me in the past but now youtube etc says i need flash

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
yeah, im having the same problem. Like youtube.. i go to watch a video.. It doesn't say I need flash player or anything but vids don't play. But it does with internet explorer. But i hate internet explorer cause it's soo slow.

this is what i get when i try to download adobe for google chrome

Your Google Chrome browser already includes Adobe® Flash® Player built-in. Google Chrome will automatically update when new versions of Flash Player are available.
