Google Chrome Plugins and Themes

Hi folks,

I'd just like to let you know that I've had a go at making a Google Bookmarks extension for Chrome. It's still early days and needs the extension system to mature a bit before it can achieve full functionality, but it's a start.

I wonder if there's a blog somewhere that i could suscribe to so i don't miss those kind of "sneaky" updates.

I've just updated to version 1.0, which fixes the breaking changes from the latest dev channel update.

hmm, i noticed a bug. dunno if its just me, but clicking the star icon to bookmark a page will switch to first tab then bookmark, so i can only bookmark the page open in first tab. Easily remedied by dragging the tab i want to bookmark to the left, but it's still annoying. If you could iron out that bug, this could be pretty good.

If you figure out how to fix this, I'd like to know how..

It seems that whatever i do with my buttons, they automatically select the first tab before doing anything.

As I see it, it is a one way sync from Google Bookmarks to Chrome.
It does not copy my Chrome bookmarks to Google Bookmarks...
Or am I missing something?

PS: Lucky for me I did a backup first! Or I would have lost all my Chrome Bookmarks.

I can confirm this. I installed the plugin to test a bug and sure enough my bookmarks were removed from Chrome.

Good call out on the backup. I probably wouldn't have thought to back them up first.
