Google: please comment. This is clearly a general problem.

    Thumbs down

Same here, it's ridiculous it happens on EVERY website that requires flash! And it's happened ever since I installed chrome. It is very fast which is good but no point in using a browser that crashes things every time without fail !

So it appears google is officially ignoring this thread since its been 2 weeks and not a single response or fix to this problem.

For the past week it has been impossible to see anything that requires shockwave since it crashes withing a minute every time. This makes chrome useless and I'm about ready to abandon it entirely.

Not having the same issue with Mozilla or Opera so they'll get my business if a fix isn't forthcoming by the weekend.

Same here, I like Chrome and much prefer it to explorer, but I have to go back to explorer every time the site I view wants shockwave flash I have reinstalled shockwave twice and each time it seem ok but only once then it crashes. I can't believe nobody at Google is aware of this problem and gives us a clue how to fix it.

First visit to the forum - oh dear not very promising if google wont respond to an issue that is clearly widespread. I also now feel guilty for recommending Chrome

Is this forum a Google forum or a third party forum? I didn't expect Google to watch this ... maybe there is some better place to complain :-)

Found the answer myself. On the start page it says:

"This site chromeplugins.org is not affiliated with or sponsored by Google Inc."

I play games on Facebook like Petville, Frontierville, etc. They wouldn't load. Had IE8 and got Mozilla Firefox. Neither worked so Zynga told me to install Google Chrome. I did today and got the shockwave flash plug-in crashed like mentioned above. I guess no browser works with the games? How do you find out what your shockwave is? I have Bonjour and Adobe flash player.
