    I haven't had it happen. What version of Chrome are you using, and for what OS?

    what application or which site were you at when Gears crashed?
    What version of Chrome are you running?

    1. Google Chrome with the following tabs:
    Google Mail
    ig
    WordReference
    LDWA London
    MetOffice
    BBC Weather
    2. Outlook
    3. Firefox with the following tabs:
    Trace email
    IP lookup
    MrSite
    4. Computer

    At lease ig, probably more, I'll check next time it crashes, unless you can suggest another way of checking?

    one method of testing is to provide the full url and get other members to try
