Lightbulb Google Tasks in Sidebar

A simple modification of Google Chrome Dual View from Chrome Blog allows you to view your Google Tasks as you browse without having to manually input the address each time. A perfect little mod if you want to start ploughing through those to do lists and ticking them off on the go. Just copy and paste the following as a bookmark:

Code:
javascript:A14nH=location.href;L3f7=A14nH;R1Gh7="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig";if(L3f7&&R1Gh7){Fr4Q='<frameset%20cols=\'*,*\'>\n<frame%20src=\''+L3f7+'\'/>';Fr4Q+='<frame%20src=\''+R1Gh7+'\'/>\n';Fr4Q+='</frameset>';with(document){write(Fr4Q);void(close())}}else{void(null)}
Here is a screenshot:

Hope this helps somebody!!!

Welcome, to Chrome Plugins! It did help but it would be cool to if you can do it with Google Chat, or Google Talk whatever you call it, so you can broswe and talk to people at the same time!

Default Google Talk in Sidebar

Thanks Twin.Sevens

Here is a simple modification again so you can see Google Talk in the sidebar:

Code:
javascript:A14nH=location.href;L3f7=A14nH;R1Gh7="http://talkgadget.google.com/talkgadget/client";if(L3f7&&R1Gh7){Fr4Q='<frameset%20cols=\'*,*\'>\n<frame%20src=\''+L3f7+'\'/>';Fr4Q+='<frame%20src=\''+R1Gh7+'\'/>\n';Fr4Q+='</frameset>';with(document){write(Fr4Q);void(close())}}else{void(null)}
Just paste the code as a bookmark. Hope this helps anyone. Here is a screenshot:

would it be able to include an option button?
allow the user to select which feature he/she wants in the side bar?

Oh this is some of the coolest ever, the gtalk as a sidebar is sooooo sweet, the extension wasnt that usefull, but this is awsome - Thx

Calendar and stuff there has great potentials.. wonder if this is possible to handle through extensions.. so you could make tabs in the sidebar with stuff like gtalk, todolist, calender and so on... ?

Default Not working

This looks like it has real potential, but isn't working for me. I just started using Chrome so I'm wondering if it is due to something that google has changed in chrome or their web apps since the last upgrade.

Specifically, I'm seeing the problem when trying to open gmail as one of my two windows in the spit screen. It starts to work, but when gmail loads, it jumps back to one single screen.

Anybody have any insight?
