I've noticed that chrome doesn't use quicktime anymore to play audio media. Now it uses some kind of embedded player that doesn't behave the way i want it to.

Even though i install the quicktime plugin it will still play mp3s in embedded player.

I go to aboutlugins and disable every single plugin and it still plays the file with the wrong audio player.

Is it possible to use any other audio player than the default?
