This doesn't use IE specifically to render, it uses the Neptune dll (which might use IE to render the page, I don't know).

Is there another plugin which can render IEtabs like the FF-plugin? I use neptune now and then, but on many pages I get Script errors (especially on my internet bank).. where i don't use neptune anymore. I hate to must open IE to browse specific sites that does not yet support chrome.

I have no idea if anyone is still interested in this, but I have figured everything out and installed everything correctly. Everything seems fine until I hit the "IE Switch" bookmark that I set up. Once I do that I get an error message that says "An error has occurered in the script on this page."
    Below that it says:
    Line: 1
    Char: 1
    Error: Permission denied
    Code: 0
    URL: https://mail.[mymailaccount].edu/owa/8.1.375.2/scripts/premium/flogon.js

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
    Yes
    No

I hit yes or know (it doesn't matter) and the page stays blank until I refresh back to regular chrome.

I am running Win 7 64 bit if that matters at all.

Seems like that specific page's JS is not necessarily IE friendly.
Considering that's an IE pop-up though, it seems like it worked in general. :P

Once you've installed the Mead software, to install the JavaScript bookmark, just right click on the tool bar or go into bookmarks and "add page..." Name it something and paste the javaScript into the url bar. That is the "bookmark" the javaScript.

    Hope that helps

this actually works quite nicely (so far). I've been looking for a way to check my work web outlook mail (in the speedier Chrome), but with the IE interface so I have all the functionality (marking, flagging, calendar, etc etc.) that don't come with FF or Chrome, etc. With this plugin/bookmark, It's rendering just as if it were IE. Great work!

@BrAtKo if you did not see my last post about how to use the javaScript above as a bookmark... just copy it, and right click on your bookmark tool bar in chrome or open bookmarks and "add page..." Give it a name (I called it IETab) and paste the JavaScript in the URL section. That will create the bookmark you need. Then just open the desired page to be converted to IE compatible and click the bookmark, it will change that way.

    Cheers

Execute the regsvr32.exe command as an Administrator of the Windows Vista machine.

1.) Click Start on the Windows task bar and then right-click the Command Prompt.
    2.) Click 'Run as administrator.'
3.) If prompted with a login, enter the Administrator credentials. Otherwise, click Continue to authorize the action.
4.) Within the Command Prompt, type the regsvr32.exe command and enter the path to the DLL file to be registered.

    See whether the above helps
