Hi,
onfortunately this did not work for me :/
Chromium build: 18187
It gets installed just fine, but when I in the settings dialog add "svendborg, denmark" and chooses what it find... and afterwards mark it, choose as default - everything is ok.... But then, when i finally click "ok", it shows an error page at "http://www.aniweather.com/aniweather.config.html#settings" .. A blue screen from chrome with, (translated to english from the error it returns in danish) To bad, error. Push refresh or go to an other page... and the icon in the button gets blank (until reboot of chrome) ...
Edit: It shows an error when I just choose "OK", without having changed any of the preferences too ??? I could change to 'Celsius" and 'Km/h' the first time thought ?
Any suggestions how to fix it ?

I noticed your thread at
http://www.google.com/support/forum/...d7cd1e6e&hl=en
So I assume your problem has been resolved.
Indeed, as Kyrax said, there is no official solution yet. Bookmarking is the workaround that works well, except some might feel imperfect. Well, I don't want to argue that because every individual is unique. But IMHO I think 50% is better than 0.
Later on I might add the options to restore the default setting in case of such situation.
I tried to install the aniweather, and for some odd reason i get something wierd on my bookmark bar, but nothing like the screenshot on the site...
see the image below...
BTW I have the cleeki add-on, and it works great...
I can't click on it, and nothing pops up....

Looks like you are on Stable or Beta channel, neither of which supports toolstrips if I remember correctly.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
No, I'm On developer channel:
My version is : 2.0.172.31
You may be ON the channel, but that version number is for Stable and Beta. Have you tried going to Tools (the wrench) > About and seeing if there is an "update" button to click?
See here for further help on getting on the dev channel (if you wish to).
It's up to date, at least according to the "about"...
from the first time it wouldn't let update i had to do it manuallyfor some reason, on both of my computers....
Well the problem you are having is due to not being on the latest dev version (3.0.187.1). If you are having problems getting on this version please create a new thread asking for assistance to avoid derailing this thread.
You were right the problem was that I weren't on the dev version of the chrome, I downloaded the version, and now everything runs smoothly....
thanks...
