I'd like some screenshots of your extension working inside Chrome. That would help me decide if this is something I need ![]() Thanks for sharing, looks quite promising.

Well I installed it to be able to post some screens. However it's victim to the same problems we have with toolstrip tooltips in the latest dev version. You are supposed to hover over the toolstrip to get detailed weather information, but all you get is a tooltip followed by a crash if you close out Chrome. I'm too lazy to try it in Beta or Stable.

I installed it.. and it doesn't seem to support Quebec City or Montreal.. so it's kind of useless to me. I have to admit that I was mostly wondering about how you managed saving "client side configuration" .. But you're saving it on your server

Kyrax, were you able to get the weather popup to work?

I was able to get the popup to work but am unable to close the popup when finished unless I reload the current tab. I noticed another annoying feature, clicking a popup link from a different website will also open the aniweather config tab. It should be a nice extension after getting the bugs worked out, it appears all weather data is coming from weather.com. If you click on the popup that is where you are taken for additional information.

I got the popup to work, but I too was not able to close the Flash overlay after it opened. I also crashed because of the tooltip bug.

| WRT the tooltip crashing issue, there is actually nothing I could do 'cause this is a system bug. But the good thing is that Google said it would be fixed some time this week. ![]() Quote:

I just tried. Both Quebec and Montreal work for me. You need to add the cities to your location list. I am not saving the configurations on the server. Instead it is stored locally.
